Question by Pomegranate hates BNP: Will this Tone Detox I made work help me shed the lbs?
Also, the person who guesses how many spam Acai Berry posts there are gets best answer lol.
But the Tone Detox….
I was thinking of through the week having a bowl of cereal with semi skimmed milk for breakfast and then for lunch a salad with a steamed chicken breast or steamed fish. Then for dinner, rice with steamed chicken or fish.
Plus loads of fresh fruit through the day if I feel like snacking.
Then at the weekend I will have the same but also be allowed a treat of some sweets (as people always buy sweets where I work at the weekend lol)
Think I am getting a cross trainer at the end of April too which I want to use 1 hour each day until I go.
I’m going to India in June for 14 weeks so this is just to loose up to a stone by then.
For my salad I just had I used little gem lettuce, celery, cucumber, tomatoes, little potatoes, a little bit of balsamic dressing, yellow pepper.
Merci Beaucoup xxx
Oh I forgot I had chickpeas in my salad too.

I would think so, but you need to change up your menu everyday to get a variety of vitamins and such you’re lacking from only eating these three meals.

You should mix up your grains and beans, too. They offer protein. Try lentils and couscous.
Also to get your veggies in you wouldn’t necessarily have to have a salad everyday. Try out some veggie casseroles or even steam your vegetables for your lunch or dinner.
Check out mypyramid.gov, you can enter in your weight and height, and it helps you come up with a healthy meal plan.
Hope this helps you out! Have fun in India!
I think so. My opinion is a low sugar, salt, fat and alcohol diet will do wonders. Oh and cut out any caffeine as well.
If you leave out the sweets then it sounds like a healthy balanced diet to me. Dont forget though to drink lots of plain water and that whilst good for you, fruit also contains lots of calories in the form of sugar!
Yep it`s a good diet, it`s pretty balanced, plus drink lots of water.. and start drinking green tea. It`s very good for dieting.
Stay off pasta and white bread
Good luck:D
Mais c’est parfait
It’s a good diet, just make sure you get enough minerals and vitamins and whatnot
Good luck, hope you make it
Sounds healthy! You might want to consider adding a little more skim milk to your diet though- calcium is one of the healthiest things for you, it will help keep muscle tone and bones strong so you lose mostly unhealthy fat. Add in another glass or try having Greek yogurt for lunch occasionally (very versatile-you can mix it with virtually anything and it tastes awesome. Also, 0% Fage has 23 g of protein and only 120 cals for a 1 c serving) . Try to eat every three hours…fruit or veggies are good ideas for snacks.
Try out different grains, too- quinoa is a known superfood- VERY healthy for you.
Also- if you do get a crosstrainer, try to skip every other day using it; this helps your body recuperate from the stress of working out. Try light yoga on the off-days to help improve muscle tone and your posture (which ultimately improves your metabolism).
Good luck and have fun in India (I’m jealous!)
